Church AV Installation – Fox Valley Christian Church

Fox Valley Christian Church, like many houses of worship, wanted to make sure every sermon, song, and message could be heard clearly from all areas of the church. However, large worship spaces can present audio challenges, including uneven sound coverage and difficulty hearing the spoken word throughout the congregation.

In addition to improving sound quality, the church needed a solution that would be simple and intuitive for staff and volunteers to operate. At the same time, the system needed to be reliable for everyday use. Ultimately, the goal was to provide a modern church audio system that delivered clear, consistent sound while remaining user-friendly for day-to-day worship services and special events. In turn, this allows the church team to operate the system with confidence during every service and event.

Also, to achieve these goals, SPL worked with the church to design and install a new audio system and speaker solution. As a result, the upgraded system improved coverage throughout the worship space while giving the church an easy-to-use solution that could be confidently managed by its team.

We selected a pair of Fulcrum Acoustic DX1226 loudspeakers as the foundation of the new sound system, delivering clear, consistent coverage throughout the worship space. Every sermon, scripture reading, and musical performance can now be heard with exceptional intelligibility from the front row to the back of the sanctuary. To add depth and warmth for worship music, we paired the system with two Fulcrum Acoustic Sub 118 subwoofers, creating a full-range listening experience.

At the heart of the system, we installed a Yamaha TF5 digital mixing console. Its intuitive interface gives church staff and volunteers an easy way to manage microphones, instruments, and playback sources while maintaining professional-quality sound. The streamlined workflow makes weekly services, special events, and holiday productions simple to operate.

Also, to provide reliable power and system management, we integrated a Powersoft Unica 8M 8K8 amplifier. This high-performance amplifier delivers clean, dependable power to every loudspeaker while offering advanced monitoring capabilities. Careful tuning between the amplifier and speakers maximizes performance and creates balanced sound throughout the sanctuary.

Moreover, our team worked closely with the church to strategically place every component for optimal performance and minimal visual impact. Throughout the installation, every detail was carefully considered to maximize sound quality. As a result, the completed installation delivers crystal-clear speech, powerful music reproduction, and reliable operation while blending seamlessly into the worship space. Now, the church has a modern audio system designed to support worship services and special events for years to come.
