The challenge for this anniversary AV production was formidable. The entire creative process, from concept development to content capture, had to be completed in just two months. On top of that, the venue was only available for a single day of setup and rehearsal. That meant SPL had to not only build a powerful visual experience, but also overcome significant logistical constraints with speed, precision, and coordination.

To meet the moment, SPL developed a detailed strategy that included close collaboration with CSUSA leadership, multiple pre-event planning sessions, and two trips to South Florida to film interviews and b-roll at various CSUSA campuses. A pre-show rehearsal was hosted at CSUSA’s headquarters to minimize on-site rehearsal needs. Once onsite, SPL deployed three rotating setup crews who worked continuously from 7 p.m. on the first day through 11 p.m. on the second, completing a full AV install, programming, and technical run through under immense time pressure. The general session featured a total of 190 feet of LED video surfaces, brought to life with dynamic lighting, immersive audio, and precise media playback. Ten breakout rooms were outfitted with tailored AV setups, including lighting, screens, and sound reinforcement to maintain consistency across all sessions. Each evening, the outdoor reception space transformed into a vibrant celebration with a DJ video wall, ambient lighting, and a powerful sound system that brought the entire venue to life. A 20 foot LED wall in the lobby showcased sponsor branding and event schedules throughout the day. In addition to live production, SPL created a full suite of anniversary AV production media assets. This included custom motion graphics, narration, seven original storytelling videos, and multi camera event recording, all developed in-house to ensure creative cohesion and quality.

The 25th anniversary event was a resounding success. Over two full days, SPL supported a packed schedule of general sessions, breakout rooms, and outdoor receptions, all powered by four semi-trucks of equipment and a 40 person crew. More than just an event, this anniversary AV production was a celebration of CSUSA’s journey, captured and elevated through thoughtful storytelling and world class AV. From start to finish, SPL helped bring the anniversary to life in a way that honored the past and inspired the future, solidifying a creative partnership built on trust, vision, and execution at the highest level.
