The challenge for this full scale AV production was significant. With more attendees, a broader agenda, and a larger creative vision, the production had to scale up without losing quality. Executive keynotes, breakout education sessions, and a live awards gala featuring a live band all had to come together in a seamless two day load-in window. CSUSA needed a main stage with striking visuals and breakout rooms that supported both presentations and collaboration, all within a fast moving production timeline.

SPL delivered a bold and immersive general session by creating a three screen LED stage design. Stage left and stage right each featured LED walls measuring 16 tiles wide by 6 tall, roughly 26 by 10 feet while the center screen expanded to 19 tiles wide, forming a powerful 30 foot backdrop. The setup was supported by two live cameras, theatrical lighting, and a full range PA system that brought energy and clarity to every presentation. In the breakout spaces, nine rooms featured screen setups to support presentations, while three larger rooms included microphones, full audio systems, and larger screens to allow for active discussions. For the awards gala, SPL reinforced the venue’s in-house system and integrated a live band, extending the celebration with high quality sound and lighting. This level of production was achieved with two semi-trucks of gear, a dedicated 12 person crew, and careful coordination with the CSUSA team to meet the load in and rehearsal deadlines.

The 2022 conference was a clear step forward in both scale and impact. The AV production created an engaging, consistent experience across the general session, breakout spaces, and gala evening. It also further solidified SPL’s role as a creative partner that not only executes but grows with the vision. As CSUSA’s needs continued to evolve, SPL remained a reliable and adaptable force behind the scenes, delivering powerful results every step of the way.
